Tainui Village is a visionary Christian Charitable Trust and is administered by the Tainui Home Trust Board which aims to provide quality residential and community service to older adults in a caring, spiritually, and culturally sensitive manner.
Our mission is to provide quality Rest Home care by meeting and exceeding the needs and expectations of current and potential residents, their families, whānau and carers. We are committed to continuous quality improvement.
Tainui is located in a peaceful, sunny area of Westown, just a short walk to the local shops and cafes, ideal for family outings. Our gardens are a wonderful place to sit and relax, enjoying the sun, colour and friendship of the other residents.
Our carers are kind-hearted, patient and sympathetic. They love getting to know you, your family and your likes and dislikes in order to make your day just how you like it to be. To make sure you feel at home and getting the best care we can give, we consult the experts – you and your family. We make sure to make decisions about your care together, so your wishes are always respected.
